Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 May 2026
Welcome to FounderOS AI ("FounderOS", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, applications and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
FounderOS provides an AI-assisted operating system for UK founders, including compliance reminders, bookkeeping assistance, document drafting and a conversational assistant. The Service is an informational and productivity tool — it is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax or legal advice.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
- You are responsible for the security of your account and all activity under it.
- You must provide accurate company information and keep it up to date.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
- Reverse engineer, scrape or interfere with the Service.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that contains malware.
- Use AI outputs to mislead HMRC, Companies House or any other authority.
4. AI Outputs
Outputs produced by the assistant (drafts, categorisations, explanations) are generated by large language models and may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying and approving any output before relying on it or submitting it to a third party.
5. Fees & Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice.
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of the data you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Termination
You may cancel at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue or data.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
